Ex- Governors Kidero and Awiti join Homabay leaders in waiting for president Ruto in the county

President William Ruto flanked by senior government officials are expected anytime from now to arrive in Homabay county for a series of projects launch.

The head of state is expected at Tom Mboya university in Homabay Town for a meet up with leaders before launching several development projects in the county.

Leaders from the region are already in the university awaiting for president William Ruto's arrival and his delegation.

Former Homabay Governor Cyprian Awiti and former Nairobi governor who hails from the county Evans Kidero are also present in the ground to welcome the head of state in the county.

Other leaders present includes; Homabay governor Gladys Wanga, deputy governor Joseph Oyugi, Women representative Joyce Atieno, Senator Moses Kajwang, legislators from the county led by outspoken lawmaker Millie Odhiambo.

Interior and national coordination principal secretary who hails from the county Raymond Omollo is also present.
