With few days remaining before Mashujaa Day Celebrations in Kirinyaga county, the cracks between Kirinyaga County Woman Representative Purity Ngirici and his UDA allied party seem to be widening if her recent post is anything to go by.
Ngirici, who is eyeing Kirinyaga County Gubernatorial seat, seems to have been so jittered after the incumbent Governor Anne Waiguru suggestively made her way back into Ruto's UDA party.
Things seemed to have escalated recently after Ngirici came out to publicly attack a section of her UDA colleagues led by Nakuru County Senator Susan Kihika and Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa, after the two were spotted having good times with Governor Anne Waiguru.
And on Tuesday, Ngirici, who has been hanging out mostly with one of President Uhuru Kenyatta's PS Karanja Kibicho, suggestively posted an ad of President Uhuru Kenyatta, welcoming him into Kirinyaga county for the Mashujaa Day celebrations.
Her post immediately elicited mixed reactions among netizens, who came out to ask the MP if she is warming up for a reunion with Jubilee Party boss President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Kieleweke camp.
The MP was forced to answer her critics, saying she had decided to press a pause button for politics and instead advocated for the interests of Kirinyaga people first.
This was perceived as a clear strategy of cleverly dumping UDA and preparing herself for a reunion with the president's camp. Days ago, the MP was in a fierce confrontation with Governor Anne Waiguru after her billboards welcoming Uhuru into the county were brought down and those of the governor erected instead.
Ngirici is seen as an insecure politician, who is cautiously approaching her moves, with clear indications pointing at Waiguru's return through a UDA ticket in 2022 hence locking her out.
