Crack Looming At Azimio As Election Observers Urged Uhuru To Drop Azimio Chair Post Due To This

As President-Elect elect William Ruto's inauguration ceremony approaches, many activities are taking place across the country to ensure a peaceful transition.

Various stakeholders have claimed that the president is a national figure who should remain neutral and provide unbiassed advice to leaders from any party seeking his wisdom and direction. “President Kenyatta has done very well for the country in the past 10 years and to preserve his respect he must leave the leadership of the Azimio to other leaders and remain as an advisor,” he commented. International Election Observer, Pius Masai, intervene to Kenya Politics by advising president Uhuru to drop his position as the chairman of Azimio La Umoja council to help to enhance his prosperity and protect his tremendous legacy intact.

Uhuru was urged to act as the middle man between the incoming government led by William Ruto and former prime Minister Raila Odinga.“Uhuru should instead act as a mediator between the incoming government and the opposition party led by ODM Leader Raila Odinga,” Masai added.

Raila Odinga was advise to agree on Supreme Court Rulling and recognise the new government and serve Kenyans in other capacities.

The move by this election observers and other stakeholders happened few days after President claims that he will join Raila Odinga opposition side.
