The political season is yet again here with us and politicians are improvising various strategies to help them win in the forthcoming elections.
According to the latest surveys and opinion polls, UDA party which is led by the deputy president has been ranked as the most popular party in Mt Kenya region.
The ruling Jubilee party has been putting efforts to bring the party back to life in the region. The party has effected some changes and grassroot meetings have been going on across the region to try and revive the party.
Inooro TV Journalist, Kamau Kang'ethe, has come out to admit that the party is still unpopular in the region. The journalist said this on Monday morning when he was hosting Mungai Express from Nyandarua county.
"Let me today confirm that there is a problem with Jubilee party in Mt Kenya. Whenever I host a Jubilee politician from the region, I receive very negative messages. There is usually a lot of backlash from the viewers. The messages come in form of insults and most of the time I ignore them and deliberately refuse to read them on air. I am yet to understand why people seem to hate Jubilee politicians that much," alluded Kamau. (Watch video from 1 min).
Previously, Kamau has been accused of taking political sides. A section of his fans have accused him of biasness by favoring Azimio politicians.
