When president Uhuru Kenyatta's chopper landed in Kirinyaga county on Wednesday morning, he was received by top Cabinet Secretaries who serve him.
"Popote ulipo katika jamhuri yetu, tunakupa heko wewe Mkenya unayejitahidi kujiinua zaidi na kukuza taifa letu. Kauli mbiu ya siku ya leo ni "Nchi yangu, jukumu langu, mimi ni shujaa." Wewe ni shujaa!''
Among those who received the Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta is the Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government programs CS Fred Matiang'i.
Others are the Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure and Housing CS James Macharia as well as the Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Health CS Mutahi Kagwe.
The cabinet Secretaries had earlier on met and they arrived to the event together as a group and were welcomed by among others the former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga.
