According to the lawmaker who addressed the media, said the total contribution of ksh.4.1m is in the boda boda sacco account and Ruto never took back his donation.
"The money is in the account of boda boda riders, those who alleged that Ruto took back his donation when he came to Sotik on 15th this month are being used politically to taint his name," said Mp Koskei
The lawmaker added that he gave money to boda boda to register their sacco and he also paid for the training of boda boda riders in Sotik constituency.
Early today the Deputy President William Ruto said Kanu Party secretary Nick Salat is the one who engineered a section of bod boda riders to taint his name by alleging that he took back the money
"The money we raised in Bomet county is in the account and Salat is the one who used a section of boda boda riders to taint my name since they want to kill me politically," said Dp Ruto during an interview on an Online Jarang'o tv
