President Uhuru Kenyatta Vows to Uphold smooth transition of Government

At the state house on Thursday, President Uhuru Kenyatta had a meeting with the spiritual leaders. Additionally present were the Anglican Archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit, the Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims, Hassan Ole Naado, and Archbishops Antony.

Additionally, Senator Chris Coons visited the state. The clergy praised President Uhuru's leadership and thanked him for paving the way for inclusivity and harmony.

Uhuru has urged Kenyans to uphold peace at this time of transition in a statement following his meeting with the group. The president made a commitment to uphold the idea of good governance with steadfastness.

President Kenyatta stated, "My greatest wish is that peace would prevail and that we may serve as an example to the continent and the rest of the globe."

At William Ruto's official Karen residence, Senator Coons also spoke with the president-elect. Ruto promises to uphold his commitment to maintaining close ties with the US. Additionally, he met with Raila Odinga, a presidential contender from Azimio, and discussed democratic principles.
