Being an electioneering period, politicians from different political divides have resolved to use any platform that comes their way to either drum up support for their political ambitions or that of their respective Principals.
In that context, on Thursday 7, Bahati Constituency Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri left Kenyans in mixed emotions after he took to Facebook and shared a photo claiming Kenya will be freed from Her captivity come August 9 by voting for Dp Ruto.
Ngunjiri's Facebook post comes at a time Kenya Kwanza components lead by Deputy President William Ruto have frequently been heard claiming a vote for Dp Ruto is a vote for freedom; claims the hurdles facing Kenyans including high cost of living among other are about to be a story of the past only if Dp Ruto is granted the opportunity to take over as President.
However, unexpected to Ngunjiri, his Facebook post garnered reactions of different kinds from Kenyans having a section of Kenyans expressing displeased opinions while others shared different opinions over the matter. Below are a few of the comments;
