Deputy President William Ruto today left majority of Kenyans asking themselves if he wants to return the country back to one-party state which was one of the late president Daniel Moi's strategies of uniting the country.
Taking to his social media accounts, Dr William Ruto revealed that he urged residents of Awendo and leaders who were present to embrace National political parties and do away with tribal and regional parties.
He claims that regional parties are the one responsible for tribalism in the country and those parties should consider uniting so as to achieve a national face.
He also revealed that they agreed with some leaders to sell United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party in Nyanza region which is a stronghold of former prime minister Raila Odinga.Among those who had accompanied him includes Migori Governor Okoth Obado, Hon Silvanus Osoro and Ndindi Nyoro.
