ODM leader Raila Odinga on Wednesday said they are not worried with the court order barring IEBC from facilitating the BBI referendum.

The Building Bridges Initiative suffered a major blow on Monday after the High Court barred IEBC from presenting the constitutional amendment Bill 2020 to the county assemblies for deliberation.

Last-minute intervention by Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha retained KCPE examinations, to fit in the broader plan of reforming assessments under the new education system.

The plan is to have learners accumulate marks scored at school level and also sit external tests administered by Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) for objectivity and certification.

Kenya’s total of confirmed coronavirus cases have hit 102,221 after 173 more people tested positive from a sample of 3,784 tested in the last 24 hours.

In a statement sent to media houses on Wednesday, the Ministry of Health said Kenya has conducted 1,223, 827 tests since March 2020.
