The political period is about to end in style after the IEBC announcing the next president. However, Kenyans are becoming impatient due to the long time the electoral body has delayed for the above matter.
The election in the country has been monitered by other nations. Specialist were alert on every activity that was involved during the election period. Consequently, as tallying is being done, much caution should be met since alot of people outside Kenya are on alert.
The leaving President Uhuru Kenyatta today met a high profile election observers at state house, Nairobi. Their main agenda was to give their view on how the election excercise was done till the announcement of the results.
Former Sierra Leone president Ernest Bai Koroma as among the top officials in the meeting. He confirmed that the electrol process was transparent. Consequently, the other observers gave affirmative reports about the elections.
The team other team were former President Domitien Ndayizeye of Burundi and Mulatu Teshome of Ethiopia. Ambassador Marie-Pierre Lloyd of Seychelles was also accompanying them.
They complimented that the election system and institutions worked within the law and international best practice.
