Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka are having talks to join forces ahead of the 2022 general elections. Reports have revealed that the two have been engaging in private talks so that they can face the upcoming polls as a team against Deputy President William Ruto.
The talks between the two have been going on for some time now and if it becomes successful, the two may be seen in next year's polls together. It should be noted that the two have worked together in the past so it won't be a big surprise to many. Allies of the two leaders have also affirmed that the talks between them have been going well. If the talks become successful, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi will be greatly isolated.
"These are leaders who have worked together before. Nothing stops them from engaging in talks. We need to have everyone on board so that we have an easy win. The talks have been there; that one I know for sure but this is not something that I can talk to you about because I am not authorized to do so. Just know that the talks have been there," John Mbadi, Chairman of the Orange Democratic Movement told the People Daily.
