Dr Evans Kidero's Only Promise To His Kinsmen And Homa Bay People After Heroic Welcome

Former Nairobi County governor Dr Evans Odhiambo Kidero well known as Wuod Asumbi (Son of Asumbi) seems to have lost nothing by losing it to his counterpart Mike Sonko in the last polls. Governor Sonko who was recently sacked by the Nairobi MCAs and Senate Assembly.

Currently things seems to be working perfectly well for Dr Kidero who is now eyeing to take Homabay county governorship position after incumbent governor Cyprian Awiti clears his two terms in office. According to a number of political analysts, the former Nairobi governor made a wise choice.

Well over the weekend Dr Kidero camped in Homa Bay where he interacted with Homa Bay residents who accorded a heroic welcome on his arrival and promised him support. According the former governor the warm welcoming was a sign of acceptance, confessing that the people of Homa Bay made him felt a deep sense of true belonging, adding that their good gestures warrant appreciation.

"I would like to take the opportunity to immensely thank the great people of Homa Bay county for the heartwarming welcoming they accorded me this past weekend. As your son, to made me to feel a deep sense of true belonging with my Kinsmen," said Dr Kidero.

On Monday, January 11,Dr Kidero revealed that he's much willing to serve the people of Homa Bay. The former governor promised to strive and bring the Homa Bay people great change, adding that the county which he termed as his home is full of resources and untapped potential that would transform the lives of Homa Bay people at large.

"I am very much willing to serve you, I will strive to bring about great changes to the entire county. Our home county has great resources and untapped potential that would transform our people's lives for the better, together we can achieve this," he promised.
