Two One Kenya alliance (OKA) political groups—Wiper Democratic Movement and Kenya African National Union (KANU)—are among several outfits that struck a contract with Azimio La Umoja last Saturday to endorse ODM leader Raila Odinga for the country's president.
Despite the fact that Kalonzo Musyoka and Gideon Moi expressed their support for Raila Odinga's bid for the country's presidency, a number of OKA partners, including Martha Karua and Cyrus Jirongo, opted out of the event.
And now, Jirongo has revealed who he is endorsing for the country's top job. He indicated in an interview with The Standard that he would now endorse ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
He indicated that he was unable to attend the function due to being out of town and that he had no objections to the new arrangement supporting Raila Odinga.
"We have no disagreement. We are unified, and we are united in our decision to join Azimio-One Kenya. Allow no one to deceive you; division exists, "he explained. This is despite the fact that details are emerging that he will join the Azimio la Umoja movement today.
