According to NTV at 11:55 pm. on Thursday, the gap in the ongoing 2022 presidential results test has begun to close between Deputy President William Ruto and ODM Party Leader Hon. Raila Odinga.
According to data from the IEBC's official website as of 16:00 P.M, Ruto is in the lead with 49.94% of the vote, followed by Deputy President William Ruto with 49.38%.
Third place went to Professor George Wajackoyah of the Root party with 0.45% of the vote, and fourth place went to Agano David Mwaure's party with 0.23%.
Even though the streaming for the 2022 presidential election is almost complete, the IEBC President, Hon. Wafula Chebukati, has made it clear that results won't be made public until the committee has reviewed all 46k 34A forms.
If the IEBC declared the president elected within the stipulated seven days as required by the Wafula Chebukati Act, it would be a commendable effort to conclude the process as soon as feasible.
