Following the President Uhuru Kenyatta Executive Order No. 4 of 2021 on 29th September 2021, on re-organizing Government and reassigning the duties of Cabinet, Cs. Eugene Wamalwa has today handed over Devolution Ministry and ASAL to cs. Charles Keter.
CS. Wamalwa will be tomorrow taking over the Defense docket from CS. Dr. (Amb) Monica Juma who moves to Energy ministry.
During the handing over ceremony, CS Wamalwa thanked the president for the honor and privilege of having been part of the transformative journey of Devolution in Kenya for the last four years.
Wamalwa welcomed the incoming CS. Keter who was previously heading the Energy Ministry which will now be headed by CS. Dr. (Amb) Monica Juma.
CS. Wamalwa also thanked the KDF that has commenced livestock off-taking at the revamped at the revamped Kenya Meat Commission (KMC) facility as well as supporting water trucking efforts by both National and County Governments.
