It's a big boost to deputy president Dr William Ruto who has been associated with United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party to run for presidential seat following the announcement made by Kirinyaga Governor Hon. Anne Waiguru that she will join UDA party.
This comes barely two weeks after Hon. Anne Waiguru appeared before the DCI offices to be grilled on matters of corruption.
In conclusion, Kirinyaga Governor has confessed that she will be able to defend her seat on the UDA party as she said that the residents of Kirinyaga county have given her okay to join Dr William Ruto's camp ahead of 2022 polls.
