Raila's Foot Soldier Kanini Kega Speaks After Ruto's Exploits In Nyeri

The former prime minister Raila Odinga is keen on getting as many votes as he can from mount Kenya region having made peace with president Uhuru Kenyatta.

Some of the leaders from the region that have embraced him include Kieni MP Kanini Kega who has vowed to stand with the ODM leader even if it means losing his seat.

Recently, when Raila toured Nyeri, Kanini was Among the leaders who Welcomed him together with Nyeri town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu.

Now on Sunday, Raila's fiercest competitor Deputy president William Ruto was in Nyeri where he was joined by governor Mutahi kahiga among other leaders.

The governor and Tetu mp James Gichuhi announced their exit from Jubilee party in favour of UDA.

However, the governor assured the DP that he will soon visit him in Karen so that he can defect Officially.

Mr James Gichuhi on his side said that he has joined UDA because of the advise given by his supporters.

"Honorable Deputy president I have visited many places in Tetu and asked people if it's riddles or UDA and people said it's UDA", he said.

This arguably is one of Ruto's biggest axploits in the recent past since the detection of Kirinyaga governor Ann waiguru.

Following this breakthrough, Kieni MP Kanini Kega has today evening steered clear from politics and instead has taken to his twitter account to state the goodness of the day.

He urged his followers to do the right thing while at the same time asking 500 Netizens to follow him promising to follow them back.

"Sunday was good, let's do the right thing. I need 500 followers I will follow you back, let's go", he said in twitter.
