Consumers Federation of Kenya secretary general by the name Stephen Mutoro has soiled the head of state hours after what he said during an interview with various media houses at his statehouse residence.

During the interview President Ruto inadvertently admitted that he fired former Detective Chief Inspector (DCI) boss George Kinoti citing that the office he (Kinoti) was in charge of was responsible for numerous extrajudicial murders that up to date have not been brought to book.

However his statement according to Mr Mutoro contradicted his earlier State House announcement that Mr Kinoti had requested to resign from heading the directorate.
"The Presidential dispatch said that Mr Kinoti's request to resign had been accepted. Dr Ruto wished him well" he tweeted hours after the interview.

He also added that there are a lot things that usually go behind the corridors of power that have never been brought to light.
