Wiper Democratic Movement party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has maintained that he will be on the ballot come 2022, as he seeks to form the next government.
The Ukambani kingpin who is a member of the Nasa coalition few weeks ago claimed that he was not going to deputize the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga a third time, and requested the ODM party leader to endorse the One Kenya Alliance.
Speaking during burial ceremony in Kitui yesterday, Kalonzo stated that his first priority come August 2022 is to defeat Deputy President William Ruto who has continued to gain popularity across the country.
"Defeating William Ruto is my number one priority, and I have reasons for it. We want a democratic country where one can go anywhere in this country. We ar ready to go. Take me serious, Kalonzo will b guided by true values and the 2010 constitution,' said Kalonzo.
His sentiments elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans online who wondered whether Kalonzo was eyeing to defeat Ruto, and not to fight for the rights of Kenyans.
Here's some of the reactions;
@boychild01: Then what? That's not a manifesto.
@LennoxKatana7: It's unfortunately that Kalonzo want to defeat William Ruto not to help Kenyans.
@HonOkebe: Some people just sound as huge jokers. How will he even do that.
@Musarek: Not making Kenya a better country but merely defeating someone... seriously.
