Deputy President Dr. William Samoei Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza team have a reason to smile after the leader of The Service Party declared that his party will embark on a 30-day vigorous campaign to popularize the Deputy President's presidential bid across the country.
Kiunjuri who is seeking the Laikipia East seat via his TSP party has been missing in the DP Ruto campaign caravan especially in the Mt Kenya region amid siblings rivalry reports within the Kenya Kwanza coalition but the former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary has vowed to popularize DP Ruto in the next 30 days.
Mwangi Kiunjuri has however been campaigning for DP Ruto in public events in the Mt Kenya region and urging residents, especially in grassroots areas to rally behind the Kenya Kwanza coalition presidential candidate.
Mwangi Kiunjuri is among the leaders who dumped the ruling Jubilee party after falling out with President Uhuru Kenyatta. He decided to form his The Service Party and he is seeking to be elected as Laikipia East Member of Parliament via TSP ticket.
All attention will now focus on him to see how he will popularize DP Ruto and if he will clinch the Laikipia East Parliamentary seat in the upcoming August general elections.
