Joining ODM? Famous Eldoret Politician Meets Raila's Son, Sifuna at Orange House

With less than a year remaining before the 2022 general elections, various political camps are racing against time in ensuring they attract more players into their political camps.

Among those parties which have been busy wooing rebel politicians into their parties includes Deputy President William Ruto's UDA allied party and well as Raila Odinga's ODM party.

And on Thursday, ODM party hosted one of the vocal Uasin Gishu politician-come businessman Zedekiah Bundotich alias Buzeki at its party headquarters in Chungwa House.

Announcing the meeting, ODM party said Buzeki and Raila Junior had visited the party's Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna at the Orange House. Without revealing much, ODM hinted that the famous politician could be on his way into the orange house ahead of 2022.

This comes at a time Buzeki has announced that he will be vying for Uasin Gishu county Gubernatorial seat. The former Ruto ally turn foe, is currently partyless after announcing his exit from Isaac Ruto's Chama Cha Mashinani Party (CCM) early this year after the former Bomet Governor announced that his party will be supporting Ruto's presidential bid in 2022.

Buzeki fell out with Ruto in 2017 after being defeated at Jubilee party primaries by the incumbent governor Mandago. He accused a section of Ruto allies of intimidating him in the party.
