Nyeri Town Member of Parliament Hon Kimani Wambugu has today dismissed and refuted claims by Deputy President William Ruto and his allies who said that the Ruling Jubilee Party has been left without active Mt Kenya leaders.
Speaking to KTN News on Wednesday, the Kieleweke MP admitted that there is no wrongdoing for someone who wishes to shift his or her allegiance to the political party of his or her choice. He has also congratulated the 4 Mt Kenya Governors who recently hinted at dumping the Ruling Jubilee Party adding that this is the season for defection and some one should not be misled to continue staying in place where he feels uncomfortable.
At the same, the MP Said that they have done all necessary arrangements for declaring Raila Odinga as the best leader suited to replace Uhuru. He has also disclosed that they have invited over 60k attendees on Friday, adding that Raila longs to see the Nation United again.
