Waiguru Opens Up on Plans To Block DP Ruto From Visiting Kirinyaga as Andrew Ngirici Reveals His Plan

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has opened up on the report that there are plans to block Deputy President William Ruto from visiting Kirinyaga county this Sunday as his rival the Ngirici's speaks out.

According to the Kirinyaga County Boss, she has said that it was false from those reporting via social media that Deputy President William Ruto has called off his Kirinyaga trip.

Extending that those claiming that there is a plan to block the DP are dwelling on malicious reports.

The Kirinyaga Governor has said that she remains loyal to the DP adding that as the Kirinyaga residents they are ready to welcome the DP and that she is very much willing to mobilize as many people she can to attend an upcoming DP Ruto's event.

"Those are malicious reports. We are ready to welcome him in Kirinyaga and we want as many county residents to show up so that we can show support to him."

General Andrew Ngirici, Wangui's husband has also been quoted by the Star, informing that on matters that there is a plan to block the DP, he is not part, explaining that he will mobilize his supporters to welcome Ruto.

Wangui Ngirici has also said that despite their division with Waiguru in a Sunday event that DP Ruto is expected to grace in Kirinyaga, she will attend however saying that outside Kirinyaga affairs, she will not engage DP Ruto.

"You will never hear or see me climbing a campaign truck conducting presidential campaigns. I will concentrate here (Kirinyaga) and that is why I will attend his (Ruto’s) meeting in the county on Sunday mainly because it’s within my jurisdiction and area of representation,” she said.
