Watch How Mike Sonko Stormed Mombasa CBD At Night And Dared Governor Joho (Video)

Former Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has revealed that he is the most resilient man the country has. For days now Sonko has been receiving backlash messages telling him to quit the Mombasa gubernatorial race as he will not win. Despite even having been attacked in some instances, Sonko has fought on and he is still campaigning.

Early this week Sonko was attacked by a group of rowdy youths while he was headed for an Azimio rally. This did not stop or kill Sonko's dream of wanting to become a governor in the coastal region.

Last night, Sonko made a grand entrance at Mombasa CBD leaving his opponents in worry. Though some people don't like him, he managed to pull a big crowd of youths in Tononoka and addressed them. He promised to create job opportunities for the youth and other people. He blamed the sitting government for having ignored the people for the many years they have been in office.

"Mimi nataka kusema hivi, sahii ni usiku lakini ningependa kusema hivi, hapa Tononoka, hapa stadium tutarudi tena hapa. Mimi naelewa mambo ya mawe hiyo ni siasa hapo hakuna shida. Pale ni vijana ishirini walilipwa watupige mawe tukasema Mungu yupo hatukutaka kupigana, hatukutaka maafa itokee Kwa sababu tunapenda amani," Sonko said.
