Irungu Kanga’ata today led hundreds of UDA supporters in Kigumo to a function that was predominately a UDA-filled event. From the photos shared online by the once Senate Majority leader, those present could be seen dawned in party attires as they interacted and deliberated freely with each other.
Kangata who is also eyeing the gubernatorial seat alongside Jamleck Kamau is seen as the favorite to win the seat going by the reception he received from the area resident. Kangata is keen at clinching the seat making promises to the people present of the change he intends to bring once he assumes the seat in next year’s polls.
Ruto’s party seems to have found its way into the area with a sitting governor today openly declaring that she might go for the top seat on a UDA ticket. So far Ruto has been seen to enjoy so much popularity from the once Jubilee stronghold.
