Could This be Uhuru Kenyatta's Secret Gift to His Deputy Ahead of 2022 Succession Race?

There is time to bind and time to split and this has already happened in Jubilee Party. So, what next? Uhuru Kenyatta has thirteen months before folding his political mats and exiting the stage.

He has a litany of issues to solve and numerous balls to juggle with before leaving. Of the issues he will have to deal with is levelling the ground for his successor.

Before things fell apart between him and his deputy, Jubilee's 2013 pre-ection pact bounded him to pass the mantle to his deputy but that changed immediately their relationship turned sour.

After years of trying to fix his deputy, it has emerged that he could be as well losing he grip of his backyard. The once unified region is now on the verge of collapsing as leaders jostle to take after him.

Various governors from his turf have since urged to put Jubilee House in order or lest lots of political lives will be lost. Anne Waiguru in particular opines that its time to open doors for leaders to enter and re-enter.

For JP to regain its glory, Uhuru must unite Kieleweke and Tanga Tanga camps and by doing so, his relationship with his relationship will be restored again. Now the question is, will Jomo's heed the clarion call? If the answer is yes, then William should be ready to have his brother back on board.

As Swahili wisemen once put it; Dalili ya mvua ni mawingu and hitherto, Kieleweke and Tanga Tanga lieutenants have already challenged the president to heed their call and what's now remaining is a response from Jomo's son.
