Professor Kangwanja Sends Message To President Ruto, He Believes Ruto Will Listen

Analyst of politics and governance Peter Kagwanja has urged President William Ruto and the camp of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance to support the move by the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance to amend the constitution and create office of the official leader of opposition. This move was made by the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance.

In an interview that took place on Tuesday with Spice FM, Kagwanja argued that the position will make the Azimio work of keeping Ruto's government in check more effective and efficient, which will allow President Ruto to carry out his agenda.

In addition, he suggested that the opposition be provided with financial support and that a shadow cabinet be established in order to keep Ruto's cabinet under surveillance. He suggested that, within such a structure, Raila or the leader of the opposition should present his argument in front of members of parliament and senators.
