President-elect William Ruto defended his victory in the elections on Thursday, saying he did so fairly and that none of the petitioners had provided evidence to support their allegations of vote-rigging or involvement in the election.
Ruto through his lawyers informed the Supreme Court on Friday, September 02, 2022 that there was no rigging and that he won the August 9th presidential election.
On September 1, 2022, Senior Counsel Fred Ngatia presented his arguments before the Supreme Court. Mr Fred Ngatia is leading the legal team of the President elect William Ruto in the presidential election petition.
