ODM Ally Raphael Wanjala Defeats UDA Aspirant To Retain His Seat

The nation is currently experiencing high levels of tension and anxiety as political heavyweights wait for the outcome of the recently concluded general elections. Revisions have not yet been made public. IEB Chairman Wafula Hebukati stated that the results would be made public within the following seven days. 

But some areas have already received the Member of Parliament results. Hon. Alfred Keter of the Nandi Hills was the first politician to lose his seat in politics. 

After receiving 15,572 votes and defeating his closest competitor, Alfred Juma Maloba of the UD, who received 14,146 votes, Budalang'i M. Raphael Wanjala of the DM has retained his parliamentary seat.

Mr. Wanjala had a great approval rating and was ranked among the top 30 Ms in 2020, per a study by the research firm Infotrak. 

Mr. Wanjila announced his comeback after spending ten years away from politics by defeating Babu Namwamba in the general election of 2017. This took place after I joined Raila Odinga's DM and left the Jubilee Party.
