Mumias East MP Attacked By Kenyans After He Posted this On Raila Odinga's Demonstration

A Member of Parliament for Mumias East was attacked by his fellow Kenyans after they saw him post this at Raila Odinga's rally.

In response to Peter Salasya, a Kenyan lawmaker representing Mumias East, posting this before tomorrow's rally for Raila Odinga, the public has assaulted him.

He said on Facebook, "I think only fools would join tomorrow's demonstrations at kamkunji grounds in Nairobi." Young people, DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!

Salasya, elected on a DAPK party platform, is now serving his first term as representative for the district of Mumias East.

A young legislator, he is one of his generations.

He strongly advocates for the opposition leader Raila Odinga and harshly criticizes President William Ruto's administration.

This is a sampling of people's responses to his post, which received various opinions.

Quote from Daniel Barasa The question was posed, "are you calling Kenyans fools?" They have the right to demonstrate, but not at the expense of others' property.

As a writer, Honey Odingo "Baba is a constant; therefore, I will be there,"

Auma Wycliff declares, "I shall be there for the gathering. I'm not stupid; I just need some cash. You have money, and I don't, so that's a big difference between us. I went to your demonstration in Mumias, and we were idiots to do it.

According to Idris, They (Kenyan youth) must stand firm against being used by politicians for their gain. In other words, it's probably best if you just stay inside.

"Our Kakamega youngsters won't do it, there's always a decent method to put things in place not demonstration," Alex Lorenzo adds.
