Yesterday, President William Samoei Ruto appointed his loyalist in CAS position. Some of the vocal and prominent leaders appointed include former Governor of Nairobi Evans Kidero, former Woman represenatitive of Laikipia county Cate Waruguru, Dennis Itumbi, Washiali, former Starehe Member of Parliament Honorable Charles Jaguar, Isaac Mwaura and others. Many Azimio La Umoja leaders and Kenyans criticized president William Samoei Ruto after he appointed fifty CASs in this time of economic crisis.
Roselyn Akombe is one of the most influential and popular leader in Kenya. She is also the former IEBC (Indipendent Electrol and Boundaries Commission) commissioner. She has posted the following message in her official twitter account after President William Samoei Ruto appointed CASs. "I am really broke. But I will absolutely take my 50 loyalists on a luxury cruise worth millions and my hungry family can tighten its belt. Oh and pray."
