Trans Nzoia is one among the fourty seven Counties of Kenya. The County has produced very powerful individuals in Kenya among them Eugene Wamalwa.Today, let's have a look at some of strong political womens of the county currently.
.Phanice Khatundi:Khatundi is eyeing Trans Nzoia women representative position,She entered politics on a very high note popularising herself within a very short period of time. She will be seeking to be elected through a newly formed political party DAP K which is gaining popularity among Trans Nzoia residents.
.Lillian Chebeti:Lilian is also seeking women representative's position in the upcoming elections. She will be seeking votes through UDA party. She's regarded a big threat to Khatundi as the winner is likely to be from either DAP K or UDA.
.Janet Nangabo:Nangabo is the current Women representative in Trans Nzoia County serving her second term. She's also a member of DAP K but it's not known if she will step down for Khatundi or they face off in nominations. Some years back,Nangabo had shown interest in Gubernatorial race but went silent after political entry of Former Rift Valley Regional Commissioner George Natembeya into the race.Currently she's supporting Natembeya's candidature.
.Milkah Psiwa:In the past elections,Milkah was seeking to be elected as a member of Parliament for Saboti Constituency but things did not go well with her but luckly,She secured a job in West Pokot County.Milkah is no longer a threat to the likes of Khatundi and Lillian as she declared going for Deputy Governor's position but it's not clear who she will be deputising between Chris Wamalwa and George Natembeya.
