The former lawmaker has directed his appeal to Azimio leader Raila Odinga asking him to denounce violence ahead of August Elections.

“We want to appeal to Raila Odinga, he must denounce violence during elections. The IEBC must take disciplinary action against ODM party. We want 2022 elections to be peaceful.” Boni Khalwale posted on his Facebook page.

This comes hours after United Democratic Alliance (UDA) claimed that Raila Odinga through Embakasi East members Parliament hired youths to disrupt deputy president's meeting at Jacaranda grounds on Sunday.

Khalwale has also asked Independent and Electoral Boundaries Commission to take disciplinary action against ODM party to serve as an example to the rest of the parties planning to cause violence in the country.

In a rejoinder, the ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna has dismissed those claims by Ruto's led party.
