It's now official that Kenya's next president will be either William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza or Raila Odinga of the Azimio la Umoja. This is after a couple of opinion polls have narrowed down the State House race to be between the two leaders.
With less than 72 days to the August 9 general elections, Deputy President William Ruto and UDA party leader have this evening once again assigned his running mate Rigathi Gachagua another key job which is set to begin on a day after their swearing-in.
Ruto who was speaking to Maela residents in Nakuru county today revealed that the first job he will delegate to Rigathi Gachagua will be to make sure that road from Kongono to Maela to Narok will start immediately on August 10.
This is not the first time Ruto is assigning first jobs to Rigathi in early May when Ruto unveiled his running mate, he revealed to Kenyans that his first assignment to Rigathi will be leading the economic team of the Kenya Kwanza coalition to campaign towards their bottom-up economic agenda.
