Hours after Hon. Nick Salat, the suspended secretary general of the KANU, joined President William Ruto's camp today in Bomet County, Hon. Weston Wanjohi responded via his official Facebook page.
He claimed that given their shared history and where they had come from, Nick Salat shouldn't have ended his lengthy connection with Senator Gideon Moi.

"I agree with Nick Salat on one thing, KANU must resurrect. It will not come back through Azimio or through Kenya Kwanza; but it will definitely resurrect and would like to add two things;
1. Supporting William Ruto as president is absolutely correct but shifting your loyalty to him is ill advised.
2. The distance you've come with Gideon K. Moi is longer than the remaining distance, five or ten years is so little. It will end very fast". Said Hon. Weston Wanjohi.
