It is bad news for the second in command Dr William Ruto, who is also the Kenya Kwanza political alliance's presidential flag bearer, and the Kenya Kwanza merger leaders after new opinion poll results were released, posing a great challenge to the Kenya Kwanza political merger.
According to today's 'Daily Nation' publication, it is good news for Raila Odinga as his running mate Martha Karua is set to bring more women votes to Azimio la Umoja compared to the number of women votes that Rigathi Gachagua is set to bring to the Kenya Kwanza.

The publication has established that TIFA organization held an opinion poll which revealed that Martha Karua has a support percentage of 35 of the Kenyan women while as Rigathi Gachagua has women support percentage of 32.
According to the publication, the entry of Martha Karua and Rigathi Gachagua into national politics has changed the presidential election matrix with many women now supporting Karua's side.
