Today was a big day to celebrate the life of a former minister Simeon Nyachae.
The late was a renown and respected Gusii Leader as given credit to shaping the region's politics.
Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe represented the president Uhuru in delivering his speech during the Requiem mass of Nyachae.
It was calm as no violence or sorts of walkouts as the health CS delegated his mandate.
Former Prime Minister and Interior CS Fred Matiangi were also in attendance as they celebrated the well-lived life of the departed.
This showed a sudden change as a few days ago people staged a walkout during Munya's speech in Kiambu as he delivered the president's message as Ruto's allies demanded to let the second in command transmit the information to the mourners.
Unfortunately political class has been using these occasions to channel their selfish interests culminating into chaos due to lack of political tolerance and this should not be the case as the family of the bereft should be given their humble time to give a proper send off to their beloved ones.
