'Wacheni Upuzi' Angry Ruto Tells Hecklers In Laikipia

Deputy president Dr. William Samoe Ruto has been in Nyeri county for a 3 day campaign before shifting to Laikipia county on Tuesday to sell his policies. It is during his campaign in Laikipia, a section of people shouted at Ruto and telling him they don't want wheelbarrows. The deputy president's allies effort of urging the crowd to calm down went deaf as they continued to shout ''hatutaki wheelbarrow, hatutaki wheelbarrow, (we don't want your wheelbarrow).''

The crowd wen wild when the deputy president decided to address them. Seeing that the crowd would not calm down, he respondend to them saying they should be civilized and take their primitivity somewhere else. ''Wacheni upuzi, mwende mupange mkutano kwingine, (stop being primitive, you can go somewhere else and start your own rally)'' said Ruto.

However Ruto went on to address those who were not part of that section who had heckled him saying that that was a planned move by his competitors to stop him from campaigning in Laikipia county. The area governor is one of the politicians who have not shown their interest in supporting Ruto.
