Ruto Warned, Told What Kalenjin Women Could Be Planning To in August

According to political analyst Danstan Omari, ODM leader Raila Odinga's decision to settle on Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua is seriously working against Deputy President William Ruto's bid.

Omari claims that Ruto's choice of Karua is making his life difficult and is now driving away people who would have otherwise automatically voted for him and supported his candidacy.

Such, he claims, are women from Ruto's Kalenjin community, particularly those in Nairobi, who will most likely vote for Raila to show their appreciation for their fellow woman; Karua.

Even women from the Kikuyu community will vote for Raila because they feel more welcomed there because of Karua, implying that the DP will not cause any problems for Raila in Nairobi.

"Women voters in Nairobi, including those from the Kalenjin community, are now divided between Raila and Ruto. Even Kalenjin voters in Nairobi will undoubtedly vote for Karua in this election "According to Omari, a well-known lawyer, in an article published in The Star.

He also predicts that Raila will win the vote of people aged 35 to 90, because they want stability, which he appears to represent.

Omari contends that with Ruto relying heavily on the youth vote, which accounts for only 39 percent of all registered voters, he is no match for the former Prime Minister come August.

"Based on the new constituency he has won, Raila will easily defeat Ruto in Nairobi, in my opinion. Raila will receive 60% of the vote in Nairobi "He continues to write.
