"We May Not Have Capacity To Conduct Election" Uhuru 'Hints' At The Postponement Of 2022 Elections

President Uhuru Mwigai Kenyatta has on Monday Evening held a one on one interview with reporters from Citizen TV led by Francis Gachuri where he discussed several issues including his relationship with DP Ruto, BBI ruling, 2022 elections among other issues.

President Uhuru when asked about the rumour going around that he intends to postpone next year's general elections to hand himself more time in the office said he has no such intentions.

The president affirmed that he will leave office when the time comes and pave way for Kenyans to elect another President.

However, the President hinted that going by the recent court ruling on the IEBC composition, where the court said that the Electoral body as currently constituted cannot conduct elections means the ruling could affect the 2022 general elections.

“IEBC as is currently constituted with three members cannot be said to be not be constitutionally compliant,” Justice Sichale said during the BBI ruling.

What is your take on this, do you the elections should be postponed?
