"It's Payback Time" DP Gachagua Tells Chiefs In Mathira, Tells Them To Resign For Supporting Azimio.
Chief's in Mathira constituency are in panic mode after the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua called two of them and an assistant chief telling them to resign as it was payback time after they supported Azimio during the 2022 August polls.
The two chiefs are George Mukabi, Dadson Ithiru and assistant chief Burton Chiuma who alleged that the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua called them at night saying to them that It’s payback time”.
This has since been confirmed by the Mathira East deputy county commissioner Mr Peter Gicheha who stated that the issue was reported to him by the chief's and said it was a personal issue between them and the deputy president.
According to the Nation who shared the story, the three administrator's feared losing their jobs after the stance by the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua.
According to the nation, one of the administrators stated that the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua told him to start looking for something else to do as he was going home and he could not listen to any of his explanations.
