Presidential campaign caravans by the former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga and the Deputy President Dr. William Samoei Ruto are taking turns as the election day beckons. Dp Ruto was cleared by the independent Electoral and boundaries Commission to vie with the United Democratic Alliance party. Raila Amollo Odinga is seeking to succeed HE the 4th President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Succession politics is seemingly between the two horses Raila Amollo Odinga and Dp Ruto. In this same race, are George Wajackoyah of the Roots party and David Mwaure of the Agano party. Presidential aspirants are creating a pool of political leaders from all over the country as a way of creating the strong political base.
On Tuesday afternoon, it came out that Dp Ruto is planning to have a crisis meeting with a number of political leaders within the formation of Kenya kwanza. This is coming a few days after remarks by William Kabogo saying that Martha Karua has boosted the popularity index of Raila Amollo Odinga in Mount Kenya.
Kenyans have speculated that this is a meeting to put everything in order in his camp.
