The Nark Kenya Party leader and Azimio La Umoja deputy president designate Mama Martha Karua has been traversing the country alone and at times accompanying the ODM leader Raila Odinga in campaign trails to search for votes.
Today, the vocal lawyer turned politician who has been giving Kenya Kwanza sleepless nights hit the ground in Kisii County to sell Azimio manifestos to the locals and cajole them to throw weight behind the Raila-Karua ticket in the upcoming general election. While making their way through Kisii County, the Martha Karua and Ida Odinga were accorded a warm reception with chants from Kisiii town residents as seen in a video which has gone viral online. This is a clear indication of an overwhelming support of the ODM leader Raila Odinga. While taking to her Facebook page, here is Karua's message to Kenyans.
"Such an honour to accompany Mama Dr. Ida Odinga to launch the Kisii Gender-Based Violence Center, which will support survivors to access treatment, find justice & get back on their feet. This is in line with #AzimioAgenda objective of gender parity and safety for all."
