The 2022 elections are around the corner with several leaders such as DP Ruto and ODM's Raila Odinga expressing interest in taking over from President Kenyatta once he retires.
Ruto and Raila have been taking a swipe on each other for some time now with both campaigning in different parts of the country.
Opinion polls have been shifting between the two top leaders who are believed to be the main force in the upcoming general polls. Recent polls showed that Ruto was ahead.
However, fresh polls conducted by the Star newspaper on Twitter have shown that Raila would win if elections were held today.

The polls have shown Raila leading with 55% followed by Ruto (39%), Mudavadi(4%), and finally Kalonzo(2%). Raila's popularity can be credited to the current backing he receives from the head of State.
However, the UDA boss has vowed to defeat him and form his Hustler government after the August elections. Meanwhile, what do you think?
