“Hujachoka?” Kenyans Gang Up Against DP Ruto After What He Did Late in the Evening in Kiambu

A section of Kenyans have hit out at Deputy President William Ruto after he had a busy day hunting for votes during his Kiambu visit.

Kenyans slammed the DP for having rallies at two different locations late in the evening in Kiambu, a region that is considered to be President Uhuru Kenyatta’s backyard.

DP Ruto had two night rallies at Gakoe in Gatundu North which ended at around 7:20 pm and later on at around 8:00 pm he started another campaign rally at Kamwangi, Gatundu North in Kiambu County.

Kenyans in reaction told DP Ruto that he should let Kiambu people relax at night even if he is facing a tough challenge from ODM leader Raila Odinga in trying to control the vote-rich region of Mt Kenya.

Others claimed the second in command is desperate since he knows climbing the mountain will not be that easy as he had thought.

“Weeeh, aki hujachoka, working this hard in Mt Kenya to beat Raila. And the way you have been making noise the region is yours,” said Alice Wangui.

“Haujachoka hivi rallies zote in one day. You should rest coz Corona iko pia bwana DP,” said Helen Awuor.

“These people they never get tired, campaigning from morning to night, Kenyans are tired,” said Warsame Guled.

“The desperation is evident, trying to climb the mountain even at night. Raila will give people sleepless nights,” said Cruz Mekhi.

“William Ruto campaigning at Night instead of doing what he was elected for, Election period not yet, Parliament not dissolved, what is this surely,” said Avembe Victor.

“This is desperation of high class, kila siku siasa, don't you rest hata one day?” said Hanifa Yunus.

“Wah this is serious. After 1584 trips to Central and claiming to be the kingpin, "Huyu" anacampaign Hadi usiku kwa "bedroom" yake? Kwani Ni kesho?” said Victor Owiti.

“The desperation with this guy even at night,” said Charles Njoro.
