The kakamega SenatorCleophas Malala was today busy campaigning for the ANC party candidate Peter Oscar Nabulido for Matungu seat. The by election is set to take place in the coming month.
Malala was with a host of influential political leaders both from the western region and beyond. In his address to the gathering, the vocal leader pointed out that Nabulido was going to easily floor other candidates as he was the best among his competitors.
The outspoken Senator proceeded to attack the deputy president whom he said that was not even supposed to recommend a candidate for Matungu residents to elect as his wheelbarrow initiative was like an insult to the hardworking people of the vast constituency.
Malala also cautioned the Dp from misusing people through giving of cheap handouts with an aim of buying their loyalty. He also told the locals that Ruto was on the hunt for his 2022 presidential votes but hiding through his UDA candidate. He also noted that he only wanted to test his political muscle in western part.
He thus urged the residents to always run away from Ruto as he was not even fit to sell his political agenda to them. He added that Dp was a very corrupt person and a leader that was only out there to loot from Kenyans.
Attached is a video link of Malala addressing their supporters:
