Mixed Reactions as Waiguru Joins DP Ruto's UDA After Closed Door Meeting

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has always been vocal on her 2022 plans to defend her seat on a different political outfit from Jubilee which she was elected through in 2017.

As the race to 2022 gains momentum, Governor Waiguru has joined United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party after a high profile closed door meeting on Tuesday morning at the DP's Karen residence.

Governor Waiguru was accompanied to DP William Ruto's Karen residence by a section of MCAs from Kirinyaga County.

Kericho County Senator Aaron Cheruiyot has reacted to the move by Governor Waiguru exclaiming what a birthday gift she has given to President Uhuru Kenyatta as he celebrates his birthday today.

"What a birthday gift Grinning face with smiling eyes.Anyway... As you were.," Kericho County Senator Aaron Cheruiyot reacted.
