3 Hurt After Tharaka Nithi Deputy Governor Nyamu Kagwima's Campaign Vehicle Hits A Rock and Overturned

Three people were on Monday evening hurt after Tharaka Nithi Deputy Governor Nyamu Kagwima campaign vehicle hit a rock and overturned in Karuguyuni, Tharaka constituency.

Eyewitnesses accounts revealed that the driver of the vehicle, which was loaded with a public address system, lost control and hit a rock.

Mr Kagwima’s son, Brendan Nyamu, told the press that the vehicle’s brakes were loose making it hard for the driver to manoeuvre.

He revealed that the three victims were taken to Chiakariga health facility by locals before they were transferred to Marimanti Sub-County Hospital for specialised treatment.

Mr Nyamu added that the driver and one of the other victims were treated and released, while one victim suffered head injury.

The vehicle was from Chiakariga a trading centre where Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka had led Azimio campaigns.

This comes barely few months when a vehicle loaded with a public address system possessed by Tharaka Nithi Jubilee Party senatorial candidate Paul Mugambi also veered off the road and overturned along the busy road.
