Kenyans online have expressed mixed reactions following President Uhuru Kenyatta's silence since the election was held and the new commander-in-chief was announced.
Most social media users, particularly those leaning towards the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, called on Uhuru to congratulate Willian Ruto, who was announced as the president-elect on August 15, 2022.
Here are some of the reactions from Kenyans concerning Uhuru's silence on His Dp's Win.
𝐓𝐨𝐦: Our current president knows what he's doing. So give him time don't force him to do what you want. Excuse him please Kenyans.
𝐋𝐲𝐧: I like the way he is silent, sometimes silence is also a way of communication.
𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤: We told our President Elect to let us know imediately Mugathe congratulates him.Lakini kiburi.
𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞: He is swallowing his pride slowly. He will soon congratulate Ruto.
𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢: It’s worrying coz a president is expected to be a neutral unifying instrument. He is failing Kenya by being silent but I guess he is feeling shame for the spirited emotional effort he put to bring Ruto down. Hustlers threw raw egg on uhuru face. With God all is possible.
